Library Cards

  • Library cards are free and easy to obtain
  • With proof of identification, you can register for a library card at the front desk
  • Children under the age of 18, must have a parent or legal guardian’s permission and signature

Interlibrary Loan

  • If you are browsing our collection, either in person or through our online catalog and cannot find the book that you are looking for, stop by the front desk and ask about doing an Interlibrary loan. When we do an interlibrary loan request, we browse the collections of other libraries to see if they have the book that you are looking for.¬† Depending on what library the book is coming from, we could have it that day or as soon as next week. If you have any questions or would like more information, stop by the front desk to get your questions answered.

Wi-Fi

  • Wireless internet is available 24/7 both inside and outside of the library.

Mi-Fi Hotspots

  • The library now has 4 new mobile Wi-Fi hotspots for check out. Any adult Pioneer Memorial Library cardholder in good standing can check one out. Visit us at the circulation desk to check yours out today.

  • You may:

    • Check one out for 7 days

    • Reserve or place on hold if all are checked out

    • Connect up to 10 devices to a hotspot

  • You may not:

    • Renew them

    • Check out more than one hotspot at a time per household

  • Fines / Late Fees:

    • A late fee of $3/day will be applied each day the device is over due

    • Replacement fees for lost/broken/stolen MiFi device is $100

    • Replacement fees for lost/broken/stolen MiFi charger is $30

    • Replacement fees for lost/broken/stolen MiFi container is $10

Public Access Computers:

  • Computers are free and available to the public if you have a library card
  • A guest pass may be given for a one-time use
  • Children must have a parent/guardian permission to use the internet & computers

Photocopier, Printing, Faxing, Scanning, and 3D Printing

  • Photocopies can be made by the public; Copies can be made in black and white and in color
  • Printers are available with computers, in black and white and in color
    • Black and White copies are $0.20 per page
    • Color copies are $0.40 per page
  • Fax services (sending and receiving) are also available
    • To send a fax, the first page is $2 and each additional page is $0.50
    • To receive a fax it is $0.50 for each page
  • Scanning is also available
    • To scan a document, it will be $2 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page
  • 3D Printing is also available. Please ask at the front desk or call the library ahead of time to make the necessary arrangements

Notary Services

  • Notary services are available 9 a.m to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Must provide a current picture ID
  • $5 per notary

Exam Proctors

  • Library staff are available to proctor exams for students taking classes online
  • Computers are available for students to use, or they can bring their own laptops and utilize our wireless internet connection
  • Call the library ahead of time to make the necessary arrangements

Public Meeting Room

  • A meeting room is available for use by non-profit organizations. Check with the library ahead of time for availability.

Video Conferencing Equipment

  • Video conferencing equipment is available in the meeting room for webcasts or live face-to-face conferences
  • Call the library ahead of time to set up a time to use the equipment

Equipment available for checkout:

  • Digital projector – $20 for a 3-day checkout
  • Overhead projector – $3 a day for a 3-day checkout
  • Slide projector – $3 a day for a 3-day checkout
  • Coffee maker – $5 a day for a 3-day checkout
  • Electric Roaster – $5 a day for a 3-day checkout
  • Roaster liners – $1 per bag

Checkout limits:

  • Books – 2 weeks
  • Audio books – 2 weeks
  • Children Magazines – 2 weeks
  • Interlibrary loans – 2 weeks or as directed
  • Movies – 7 days
  • Video games – 7 days
  • Puzzles for children – 7 days
  • Cake pans – 7 days

Overdue Fines:

  • ¬†Books, Audio books, Magazines, Children’s puzzles, cake pans – $0.10 per day
  • DVD’s/Video games – $1 per day
