Play with Purpose

As part of our commitment to serving as a Family Place Library, Pioneer Memorial Library offers a five-week class for parents of toddlers. These “Play with Purpose” sessions are designed for children, ages 1-3 years old, and their parents/caregivers.

During this special time, PML provides the setting in which the child and parent can work and play together. The sessions are 75 minutes in length, during which time parents have the opportunity to learn about local resources to help them in the rewarding, yet challenging, task of parenting a toddler.

Enrollment is required for participation. Infant or older siblings (no more than five years old) may attend the session with the family; please note their names.

For everyone to get the greatest benefit out of this program, please plan to attend ALL FIVE sessions!

At minimum, we must have 7 parent/child pairs enrolled.

Register in person at PML or using the form below.

Fall 2024 Play with Purpose sessions will be held every Thursday in October (3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st) from 10:15-11:30am in the PML Meeting Room.
